The British Pullman, sister train to the Venice Simplon Orient-Express, embodies all that was fabulous about the Roaring Twenties and Thirties.

In their heyday, these authentic carriages were part of Britain’s most famous and luxurious services. Today, each carriage has been carefully restored to revive the charm of vintage train travel.

Cabins

Each British Pullman carriage is unique, bearing its own name and history, and featuring legendary design and craftsmanship. Art Deco lamps cast a soft glow over polished brass, bevelled glass and mahogany finishes, while armchairs offer comfortable and intimate seating.

Guests can choose to upgrade to the Cygnus carriage, designed by cult American film director and train enthusiast Wes Anderson. Inside the carriage, two private coupes offer a new level of luxury. Each intimate space can be booked exclusively by up to four travellers, who can enjoy a bespoke menu, unlimited champagne and personalised service.

It is also possible to travel in the open carriage as part of the normal Pullman experience.
