Cabins
The Maharajas Express consists of 14 carriages named after the main precious stones: Moti (Pearl), Hakik (Agate), Panna (Emerald), Firoza (Turquoise), Manik (Ruby), Heera (Diamond), Neelam (Blue Sapphire), Gomed (Hessonite), Katela (Amethyst), Moonga (Coral), Beruz (Aquamarine), Pukhraj (Sapphire), and Pitoniya (Bloodstone).
The cabin categories are divided into Deluxe (approximately 11 square meters), Junior Suites (approximately 14 square meters), Suites (approximately 20 square meters), and the Presidential Suite (approximately 42 square meters), accommodating up to 88 passengers.
All accommodation types feature a private en-suite bathroom with shower. Suites also feature a bathtub. The only Presidential Suite on board spans an entire carriage and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living area.
The style of the furnishings drew inspiration from the elegant royal carriages of the Maharajas, with traditional tapestries and antiques.
