Itinerario
  1. Day 1 - Walvis Bay (Namibia) - Pride of Africa

    Flights to and from Italy not included: rates on request
    Boarding the Pride of Africa train and departure from Walvis Bay / Lunch on board overlooking the magical Namibian desert / Overnight stay on board with full board

  2. Day 2 Pride of Africa: Otjiwarongo

    Transfer to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), a centre that has been working on the protection and conservation of cheetahs since the 1990s / return to the Pride of Africa and departure for Tsumeb / overnight stay on a full-board basis

  3. Day 3 Pride of Africa - Etosha National Park

    Morning arrival at Tsumeb station / Transfer to the lodge inside the amazing Etosha National Park, a huge nature reserve with sometimes white terrain due to the salt deserts that compose it / Accommodation in the lodge and lunch / Afternoon entirely dedicated to discovering this unique reserve in the world, the animal species that populate it and the incredible Namibian landscapes / Overnight stay in the lodge on a full-board basis

  4. Day 4 Etosha National Park - Pride of Africa

    The day starts early to immediately launch into an adventurous safari to discover Etosha in search of rhinos, wildebeests and the myriad of other species that inhabit this protected park / return to the lodge for check-out / transfer to Tsumeb station, where you reboard the Pride of Africa / the journey continues towards Kranzberg / overnight on board with full board

  5. Day 5 Pride of Africa - Sossusvlei

    Arrival in Windhoek / Transfer to the airstrip / Departure by light aircraft for Sossusvlei (approximately 1 hour) / Accommodation in the lodge and lunch in the restaurant / The afternoon is dedicated to the adventurous discovery of the desert while the sky is tinged with warm shades, echoing those of the soft dunes / Dinner / Overnight stay in the lodge with breakfast

  6. Day 6 Sossusvlei - Pride of Africa

    The day starts early for a desert safari with breakfast in the colorful landscapes of the Namibian vlei that seem to come from a comic book, so strong and wonderful is the contrast created between the white salt desert, the red dunes and the blue sky that acts as a backdrop / return to the lodge for check-out before flying to Windhoek (about 1 hour) / lunch at the Windhoek Country Club, followed by an itinerary in the Namibian capital with the railway museum, the Independence Memorial Museum, the Evangelical Lutheran Church (one of the symbols of the city), the Namibia Craft Centre and the Old Breweries Building / return on board the train and departure south, crossing the Kalahari desert towards Mariental / dinner with overnight stay and breakfast

  7. Day 7 Pride of Africa: Keetmanshoop

    Morning at leisure to relax in the luxury of the train / In the afternoon visit Keetmanshoop and Garas Park (Quiver Trees), which is home to around 300 specimens of Aloe dichotoma, a plant species now quite rare and remarkable for its ethereal beauty and great sinuosity / Return on board the train in time for tea and to continue the journey towards Aus / Overnight stay on full board

  8. Day 8 Pride of Africa: Kolmanskop e Lüderitz

    In the morning, visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop where time stopped at the beginning of the twentieth century / lunch in Lüderitz, with its typical colonial architecture / departure for Holoog / during the itinerary in the afternoon and evening the Obsveration Car will be at the head of the train / overnight stay on full board basis

  9. Day 9 Pride of Africa: Fish River Canyon

    In the morning, arrival at Holoog station / passage to the Kalahari Basin (about 1 hour) to visit the imposing Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world that paints the Namibian landscape with greenish hues among the meanders of its immense hills carved into the rock / return on board the train for lunch / in the afternoon, route towards South Africa / overnight stay on full board

  10. Day 10 Pride of Africa: Upington (Sud Africa)

    The Pride of Africa arrives in the morning at Upington station / a walking tour of the city shows the daily life of a frontier place different from what we are used to, surrounded by the wild African nature / cruise on the Orange River / return on board the train following an itinerary in the Karoo territory, a vast semi-desert region that was once a huge inland sea / overnight on board with full board

  11. Day 11 Pride of Africa: Kimberley

    Arrival in Kimberley, the capital of the Northern Cape, where a tour will show the history and secrets of a city built on diamond mining / the journey continues among the spectacular lake landscapes of the area, over which flocks of flamingos circle, painting the sky pink / overnight stay on board with full board

  12. Day 12 Pride of Africa - Pretoria -

    the route winds through the heart of South Africa, towards Johannesburg and the gold mines of the Witwatersrand, with views of the spectacular reliefs of the Drakensberg range (the Drakensberg Mountains), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, arrival at Pretoria station, the final stop of the safari with Pride of Africa!

Cabins

The sophisticated cabins, in Edwardian style with fine wood paneling and period-reminiscent décor, are divided into Pullman suites (approximately 7 square meters), Deluxe suites (approximately 10 square meters), and Royal suites (approximately 16 square meters).

All equipped with a private bathroom, minibar, and air conditioning, they allow guests to enjoy maximum comfort while remaining in their own private space, silently contemplating the captivating panorama outside. Room service is also available 24 hours a day.

The Pullman suites feature a coffee table and a comfortable sofa during the day, which converts into a double bed or twin beds at night.

The Deluxe suites feature a larger living area with a table, elegant chairs, and a bed pre-configured as either a double bed or two twin beds.

The Royal suites feature a spacious lounge and a bathroom with a Victorian bathtub and separate shower. The bed configuration can be a double bed or two twin beds.
