Since May 2017, Andean Explorer, A Belmond Train, is the first and most exclusive cruise train in Peru.

A unique way to experience the magnificent Andean landscapes, passing natural wonders, evocative colors, authentic villages on high plateaus with endless horizons, ancient empires, and priceless treasures.

Itinerario
  1. Day 1 - Cuzco - Andean Explorer

    Flights to/from the departure/arrival point not included: rates on request
    Departure from Cusco station / Lunch / In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Raqchi, where the majestic temple of the god Wiracocha tells ancient traditions and leaves dark mysteries untold / Return to the train and afternoon tea / Stop at La Raya (4,310 m) to observe the incredible colors of the sunset / Overnight on board with evening cocktails, dinner, and breakfast

  2. Day 2 Andean Explorer: Lago Titicaca

    The day begins with an unmissable sunrise over Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable body of water in the world / excursion by boat to the islands of the Uros community and to Taquile, where the locals still preserve ancestral traditions and will welcome you in their colorful typical clothes / lunch with a demonstration of traditional dances and crafts / return to the train and afternoon tea / overnight on board with evening cocktail, dinner and breakfast

  3. Day 3 Andean Explorer - Arequipa -

    In the morning, visit to the Sumbay Caves, home of the first cave paintings discovered in Peru / lunch / in the afternoon, arrival at the Arequipa station

Discover a new concept of hospitality as you step into your private haven.

The Belmond Andean Explorer accommodates up to 48 passengers in a variety of cabin types: Deluxe Double Bed Cabins (approximately 13 square meters), Junior Double Bed Cabins (approximately 13 square meters), Twin Bed Cabins (approximately 7 square meters), and Bunk Bed Cabins (approximately 5 square meters), all equipped with private bathrooms and showers.

The interiors are inspired by traditional hand-woven fabrics and fine alpaca wool.

A sense of calm, soft tones, and a convivial atmosphere allow you to unplug, relax, and enjoy every moment of the journey.
